  • Who is Pastor John Ricci?
        Pastor John is a life long resident of North Providence. He is a graduate of Freelandia Bible College and Seminary and has been in the ministry for 10 years. Pastor Jon emphasizes the systematic teaching of the King James Bible with the emphasis on rightly dividing the Word according to the grace of God.

    How did Grace Christian Fellowship (GCF) church begin?
        GCF church began as a Home Bible study group 10 years ago. As the Home Group grew in numbers God provided a building at 232 Woonasquatucket Ave. in No. Providence for the church to meet. The church has been growing numerically and most importantly spiritually ever since moving to the current location.

    How is GCF governed?
        GCF has a constitution that is available to all members which contains the doctrinal beliefs and the policies that govern the church. The church is governed by a body of 5 elders who are “overseers” as set forth in the Scriptures.

    How do you become a Member?
        GCF has no formal membership. There are no classes to take or papers to sign. If you are a born again believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and you attend services regularly then you are received and accepted as a member of this Body. If you are accepted by Christ then you are accepted by GCF.

    What denomination is GCF?
        GCF is an independent, non-denominational Bible Church. GCF does not belong to a council or synod or denominational group. The Scripture does not group Christians in denominations, parishes, ?????, or any other man made hierarchy or organization.

    What are the basic beliefs of GCF?
        GCF holds to the historic Christian Faith as revealed in the Bible. We accept the Bible as the final authority for Christians not church historic councils, tradition or any other invention of man.

    What are services like at GCF?
        Services at GCF are very informal and relaxed. It consists of prayer, worship in a variety of spiritual songs and hymns with the central focus and largest portion of time devoted to the teaching and preaching of the Word of God. When the Word is being exposited all believers are expected to concentrate on the study and use good manners so as not to distract anyone from hearing the Word of God.

    What are some of the ministries offered?
        In addition to services on Wednesday, Friday evenings at 7:30 and Sunday morning at 10 AM, GCF offers a variety of ministries in the chapel:
           a. Men’s group meets monthly on a Thursday evening
           b. Women’s group meets monthly on a Saturday morning
           c. Monday evenings at 7:30 PM a Christ based recovery group meets
           d. Children’s prep school ages 5-8 and 9-12 is available during adult services in separate classrooms.
           e. Every Saturday from 4:30-6:30 a youth group known as New Youth in Christ meets for Bible Reading and group activities
